Vocational Rehabilitation

I work closely with public and private organisations to help develop and contribute to their absence management policies and health and wellbeing programs.  I have been self-employed for the past 13 years and I specialise in working with clients in the workplace who have emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, phobias and addictions.  I support individuals and organizations using a range of vocational rehabilitation techniques, in addition to therapeutic skills.  These include developing return to work plans and using Human Givens therapy and Mindfulness Approaches where appropriate.

I work with clients on a one to one basis and support them therapeutically using a range of psychological interventions including Human Givens approach and Mindfulness.  I work with people who are suffering from emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, phobias and addictions.

I am also a qualified mindfulness teacher and I’m passionate about sharing my own knowledge, personal experiences and practice of mindfulness to teach others. I currently teach mindfulness courses to school children, members of the public, employees in Corporate organizations and in the public sector. I have spent the past five years working with the HR team at Capital One in Nottingham and together we have successfully started to embed mindfulness into the culture of the organisation. I have recently co-written a case study outlining my mindfulness journey at Capital One, for Margaret Chapman-Clarkes new book “Mindfulness in the Workplace”.
